Oh Mal-soon is a 74 year old woman who lost her husband when she was young and raised her only son alone. Bitter and ready for death, Mal-soon finds a photography shop and goes in to take her funeral picture only to find that the photographer had magical powers and she steps out of the shabby shop fifty years younger! Now she has the opportunity to start again and live the life she always wished she had; But can she let go of the life she let behind?

This movie was cute and hilarious as you see young life from the point of view of the elderly, and as you follow Mal-soon through a new era of young love, styles, slang, and music as well as renewed relationships and family bonds, you'll learn that sometimes life throws you hard times to help you become stronger.
This movie had some adult language so if you are watching with younger audiences be aware of the subtitles, aside from that this movie was light hearted and fun! An enjoyable movie for most ages, and a story line that will give you a new respect for you grandparents =D

Some of the plot did jump around, or had some strange cut scenes, aside from that I feel the plot flowed naturally and was well put together with scenes that will make you laugh, cry, and warm your heart! So if you are in the mood for a loving film about family, friendship, loyalties, and sacrifice then you NEED to watch this movie because it will satisfy all those Drama Kravings for sure!

In the mood for a good romance? How about a fresh start at a failed romance?
WELL! Flick on your Netflix or Viki and get comfortable because Cunning single lady is just that type of romance!

When Na Ae-ra meets her true love, her happily ever after doesn't go according to plan. In hopes of marrying a man with an undying desire to provide a happy life and a good job, Na Ae-ra finds herself stuck with Cha Jung-woo a brilliant romantic who quits his job to pursue his dreams, using his skills with computers to develop something amazing! Stressed and embarrassed with having to support her work at home husband, Na Ae-ra files for divorce only to find her Ex three years later as a successful CEO of his own company while she is down on her luck. With wounded pride and heartbreak Ae-ra plots to win back the heart of her rich Ex Husband by infiltrating his company as a diligent intern and leave him penniless; However Jung-woo doesn't give in easily and Ae-ra finds it to be more difficult each day to resist the lingering feelings they both seem to share.

This drama is great! It has all the ingredients needed to make a satisfactory tale of spurned love, misinterpretations, love triangles, and comical run ins with a past life!
I thought the plot moved at a good pace and all the pieces of plot fit pretty well together as the story unfolded, plus the back stories gave just enough information to keep you in the dark long enough until the big reveal of these two star crossed lover's and their history of bad luck.

I also loved the fact that there were some family feuds and resentment going on each side of the divorcees and that it was enough to kick up drama but not too overwhelming or a real main part of the plot, which let's face it, when you have a relentless Ajumma who bribes and swindles all the while grabbing her neck and wailing that she won't stand for it IN EVERY EPISODE.....well.....that does get a little draining for all of us doesn't it?

This K.Drama is mature and is more geared towards adults though it is family friendly =D It's tender, fun, sad, and hilarious! It will make you see both sides of divorce has a right and a wrong and will have you constantly rooting for every character to get their happily ever after!

Now for the KISSING CORNER! all right you hopeless romantics it's time for the smooch count!
Now I was greatly in love with and greatly disappointing with the lack of the kissing scenes in this Drama, I really wish they added a few more romantic scenes because they were STUPENDOUS! There was no dead fish eyes or droopy arms, it was all passionate and straightforward and made me laugh and sigh like a hundred times. It proves that love isn't all about the physical but the emotional and spiritual as well and it made my heart ache for all the characters to get back in touch with a little romance in their lives! So big thumbs up Cunning Single Lady, and well done!



Now that we've covered the goods, let's talk the...umm....not so goods? the bads?
THE CONS.
Though this drama was well put together and well balanced in emotions and plot I found that the beginning of this drama was EXTREMELY hard to get into at first, (I fell in love after the second attempt..)  all you see is an unhappy couple who fight with and hurt one another, which let's face it is life...but not what I want to spend almost an hour watching....I HATE CONFRONTATION! (you know...unless it involves justice! And a solid punch that makes the male lead look SO MANLY!) But hateful bickering is not what I come to these dramas for! Also I wasn't impressed with the way the brought in side characters who simply dissapear for episodes on end to come back at important plot points and get you thinking "OH YEAH! where the heck have you been?!"
Plus I wasn't completely satisfied with how they held onto random back stories then squeezed them in at the last moment causing the actual ending to be slightly boring and anticlimactic. You do not get the halleluja chorus, just a soft sweet, Awwwwwww.

So not the greatest at times, but still pretty great! This Drama is no doubt a drama you need to add to your splurge list, and with 16 episodes, (you know, compared to 20) you don't really get sick or tired, once you are hooked it's goodbye finals and hello binge marathon of a fantastic K.Drama!

Not bad at all people! This K.Drama was really good, and gets your heart racing with hope, love, and a little bit of just desserts! SO grab a friend, maybe a tub of popcorn and snuggle up to a drama that you might just fall in love with!

Are you ready for the romantic experience of a lifetime? If you are then get ready for a Drama that will change your meaning of fate and love as you are about to dive into a show that will teach you the true meanings of both!

Mi-young, (Jang Na-ra)  an adorable pure and sweet secretary at a law firm who is constantly being overlooked and stepped who yearns for love and tenderness in her life, and when she thinks she's found it bad luck seems to come and snatch it away.
Lee Gun, (Jang Hyuk...sigh so hot!) who is the goofy and romantic CEO of his family company, has found love and wants more than anything to keep it close; But with a twist of fate these two find that sometimes love comes in surprising ways!

After running into each other at the shopping center, these two find each other again accidentally at a five star hotel through some extremely unfortunate series of events.
After resolving the mischief they fall into, Kim Mi-young and Lee Gun believe that they will never see each other again! However, fate steps in and pushes them together with a surprise that neither expected! They are reunited and are forced to live together by their elders and must try to overcome their differences and sacrifice their past life styles. Lee Gun finds it hard to deal with the soft spoken and push over Mi Young, who also finds him awkward and hard to live with; However after some shaken feelings, new and old love interests that resurface, angry resistance and suspicion the two finally learn to live on a more friendly ground and find that as they overcome difficulties together they develop some new feelings for each other!

Though this Drama had some cliche' plot twists, a slightly predictable story line, and some absurdities that can be hard to over come at first, this drama is one of the ultimate K.Dramas out there when it comes to love stories, and stupendous acting! You really warm up to this story, and once you realize you can't live without this drama, you'll be glad you kept with it!
These actors/actresses can really drive things home with amazing and believable emotions and experiences that really pull you in and keep you in!!
Not to mention great comedy, unforgettable characters, family plots, addicting music, love triangles, trials, heartache, and a long road to self discovery.

....AND of course who can forget the highly odd, awkward, and extremely addicting laugh of Lee Gun, because....yeah weird at first but you will be in love with it by the end for sure!
I have days where I will randomly laugh like him and then have a K.Drama Kraving for a little FTLY hahahahaha......HUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUAAAAA! haha...couldn't help myself!

 



AHEM! Anyways.....

I could watch this Drama again and again and still find myself laughing out loud, crying like a baby, and mumbling angrily when something doesn't go my way! This is a romantic drama that you should be putting on your must watch list right now!

Alright ladies and germs, for all you romantics out there it's that time again!

NOW for the KISSING CORNER! First off I have to say....awwww yeah! Because there are some wonderful kissing scenes (And shirtless scenes!) that will give you a gushing nose bleed! With one or two awkward kisses, this has some of THE most romantic and heartfelt kissing scenes yet! You can feel the desperate passion in each scene and though there are some more lustful parts (Which are PG rated and non raunchy but tasteful, comical and cute) most of the love scenes in this drama will make your heart pound and your eyes tear up!

I know you're probably wondering what kind of ratings this show might receive? Seeing as I wasn't impressed with a portion of the plot, but found the acting to be pretty great, it could be either side here. Well why don't we consult the scale?!

That's right! I LOVED this drama! I found it sweet and satisfying, with a great ending that really says Happily Ever After, and no loose ends that will drive you crazy wondering what happened to so and so. It really was enjoyable to watch and a perfect mix of romance, comedy, and drama...I couldn't watch it fast enough!

Beating Again (Falling for Innocence)



Who says business is all work and no play? Whoever if was forgot to tell the characters to this quirky K.Drama Beating Again! Where emotions and stakes are high as two business men fight for their futures and for their love!

Kang Min-ho is a ruthless business man with all the charms of a sociopath and a nickname "the serial killer" to match his temper and wicked ways. He gets his kicks from breaking down companies, ruining reputations, ripping jobs away from honest hard workers and making millions through any means necessary. Now he has his uncle's company in his sights and a lust for revenge he will stop at nothing until his uncle pays for the crimes he committed against Min-ho's father, but with a weak heart and only one month to live, Min-ho has a hard time seeing things to the end until a streak of luck hits and he is granted an emergency transplant that saves his life! However this new heart seems to have a life all it's own causing Min-ho the uncomfortable new sensation of strong emotions and a long going attraction to his secretary.

With new found feelings of guilt and jealousy his goals seem to be fading away and being replaced with a different purpose for life. Will Min-ho let his new heart dictate his actions or will he get his revenge? With new rivalries, revenge, love, and redemption this K.Drama will catch your eye and your heart!

Now as I was watching this Drama I really felt connected to the characters, the actors did a fantastic job with revealing emotions and secrets in a way that made you really get to know the points of views of each character which I just couldn't get enough of! However with a misleading beginning, redundant episodes, and terrible translations I did find this particular drama to be hard to follow and a little frustrating with pieces of plot I'd basically already seen an episode previous. So what makes this drama good? Well in my opinion it would be the growth of the characters, the tender love scenes that are natural and full of emotion, and the great plots for revenge and justice through out the show! It really keeps you guessing, and every once in a while you'll find yourself jumping up and down saying, "HOLY CRAP I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!" The reveals are amazing! Though somewhat random you will find it hard to end things at the cliff hanger and will be convincing yourself that one more episode can't hurt haha! The plot twists were enjoyable and the drama was irresistible in this show, so if you haven't seen this you'd better write it down because it's a great story with a reasonable amount of episodes that end with satisfaction!
(though slightly drawn out and predictable)

Now for the Kissing corner of this Drama I am pleased to tell you that there is ONE and only ONE awkward, open eyed kiss scene! Which in my opinion wasn't too bad at all. There was some good kissing going on, most of them innocent and sweet, with one or two more passionate moments that will stop your heart! On the other hand this drama was more about the courtship than actual love scenes so the kissing did stay at a minimum as the characters were more focused on the future of the companies. So for the romance parts I found it tender, passionate, and low key which actually fit the high paced drama and action of the show, a perfect balance!

Tired of shows where the nasty, rude, female/male leads get the guy/girl just because they're "hot", well dressed, popular, or slightly spunky and refreshing compared to other characters in typical romances?

I'm talking to you, Grey's Anatomy, New Girl, Two and a Half Men, Scrubs, Glee and countless others!

Well this show is about to give you sweet justice, as an unlikely romance gradually blooms that proves that it is what's inside that counts!

Go Eun-chan is an ambitious, highly energetic tomboy who, after her father's death has become the bread winner in her family and will do anything to support her mother and little sister's high maintenance lifestyle, including pretending to be a boy to get work.
After an accident while making late night deliveries, Eun-chan is mistaken for a mugger by the handsome playboy Choi Han-kyul and one of his childhood friends Han Yoo-joo, and
breaks her scooter in efforts to reclaim the stolen goods which causes her to loose her job. Torn between pride, and money to fix her scooter and support her family, Eun-chan demands she gets compensated for the rescue of Han Yoo-joo's purse. Han-kyul offers her a job, believing Eun-chan to be a boy he hires her to chase away his unwanted blind dates. Eun-chan must prove that she is a hardworking boy as Han-kyul inherits a coffee shop from his grandmother and CEO to his family business and plans on opening an all boy staffed shop to attract young women.
After working together and becoming good friends, and still believing Eun-chan to be a boy,
Han-kyul develops confusing feelings for his goofy co-worker, and struggles with sexuality and identity.

This show was filled with love triangles, heart warming friendship moments, scandals, and proof that when you have love, nothing else matters. Along with the main plot you follow a group of trouble making young boys as they try to rebuild an old coffee shop, make lasting relationships, and overcome hurtles in their lives! This Drama had a good even amount of main character plot and side character plot, and it really balances out really well as you get lots of different story lines and plenty of drama to keep you going and going wondering who will end up with who and what will become of the character's goals and dreams! Definitely keeps you on your toes as you follow the suspenseful lives of these hard working princes, and neighborhood sweeties.

Now it was hard to really find something that was super frustrating, aside from a bland first episode and a few strange moments, this show had little to complain about! I did have issues with some of the progress of the actual shop, some filler episode moments and some really weird character development that is rewound and taken back. However this show really makes up for it with a strong plot, strong characters, and strong relationships that will make you ponder your place in the universe (lol)

NOW in the kissing corner let us discuss how the romantic scenes played out! This drama is more geared towards young adults so I found some of the kissing scenes to be comfortable and mature, there were some really heated kissing, and of course some extremely satisfying kissing that will fog up your computer/TV/iPhone screen! With only a tiny amount of the open eyed smooch, the kissing in this drama was romantic and toe curling and just GREAT! so two thumbs up for you out there, (you know who you are) that are counting episodes until you get to see your favorite characters finally get some from their heart throbs and jump head first into a dreamlike state of infatuation =D sigh!


So are you ready for a will they won't they roller coaster of love and heart break?! Then buckle up and prepare yourselves for a super fantastic show that you won't soon forget.
I really wish I had more to say aside from WATCH THIS DRAMA!!!! but that about sums up my feelings for Coffee Prince! So let's start up that DRUMROLL! So you can get to watching this show!

Looking for a story with colorful side characters, jealousies, bribes, intense drama, silly washed up pop stars, family tragedies, family feuds, voodoo witch magic, the classic battle of the sexes, entertaining friendships, and a budding romance that is doomed to fail??

OF COURSE YOU ARE!

Secret Garden has all of these things and more!

When rich and image obsessed business man Kim Joo-won, tries to help his washed up pop idol cousin avoid a terrible scandal he has an accidental run in with Gil Ra-im, a hard working, rough and tumble stunt woman (who is his cousin's number one fan) and becomes smitten with her straight forward attitude and tomboyish charms.
While following Gil Rim around and trying to figure out why he can't get a poor girl with a common lifestyle and dangerous job out of his head, he tries to convince himself that she is beneath him and therefore not worthy of his love but is only drawn further in as Gil Ra-im is constantly resisting his moves and pushing him away. When all seems to be turning towards the worst, a magical spell forces the two to see life from a different perspective and work together in difficult situation to reverse the spell and set their lives back to normal, but as they work together they begin to form a bond stronger than ever!

This adorable romantic comedy is the best of the best and will raise the bar for the rest of the K.Dramas that you will ever watch, NO KIDDING! It was a charming and sweet story where true love conquers all and proof that with a whole lot of hard work and a little bit of magic, all of your dreams can come true~

Now I found that this drama was painfully slow moving in the beginning and took a while to get to the huge plot twist that really gets the show moving, a little bit of forced romance and some repetitive scenes and scenarios that made me almost give up on this drama, but I was so glad I kept with it because once it gets past the slower bits it really picks up around episode 5-6 and the rest of the series is a nonstop ride of heartbreaking, knee slapping, emotional moments that will make you wonder why you haven't heard of this Drama sooner! So if you are as impatient as I am, don't stress, just stick with it and I promise your life will change for the better =D

OKAY OKAY now is the moment all you romantics have been waiting for! It's the Kissing Corner!
How was the kissing in this series? I'll tell you! It's FANTASTIC! Though there is a small amount of the classic open eye smooching, 95% of the kissing in this series is romantic, surprising, and steamy! It will definitely get your heart racing and will make you squeeze your pillow and giggle like a little school girl! With multiple romances blooming all around the main characters between the wonderful group of friends and co-workers, you get your fill of adorable and Squeeemazing love scenes!

     

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

*cough cough* AHEM.....Anyways! ( a little caught up in the kissing there )

Now the ending of this series is something that truly makes this Drama great, it rounds out smoothly without unrealistically shoving things to a conclusion. Plus it has some amazing character development, you see so much growth in the characters you really come to love! With some pretty great outcomes and satisfying conclusions you will not be left wanting.


This is the perfect K.Drama for Valentine's Day, it will warm your heart and bring you and your family, friends, or significant other closer together as you witness the struggles of love.

WOWZERS! What an amazing show! I really loved this drama and it blew my mind how amazing it t turned out, and if you are looking for something to make you fall in love and become completely twitterpated, then this is the NEXT show you should find and watch immediately!

Grey's Anatomy? Out of the way! Here comes an interesting twist to medical drama and it's about to take a special place in your heart =D

Follow Park Shi-On (Joo Won) who has Autism and the mentality of a 10 year old boy and big dreams to become a pediatric surgeon so he can live up to a promise he made years ago! He fights against his disability and tries to overcome social discrimination through his photographic memory and amazing ability to diagnose a problem! Though he struggles to connect emotionally or rationally to the children he cares for or even to his superiors, he becomes attached to a fellow medical student who has a soft spot for his innocence and passion to heal.

This Drama is all about overcoming trials and growing together, it is filled with medical emergencies and adorable children who help the main character find his place in the world of medicine as well as the adult world he yearns to be accepted into by his peers and co-workers.

I found this show to be a refreshing take on the medicine world, with evil plots, true love and social struggles in the eyes of someone with disabilities, I very much enjoyed the point of view this show offered! Plus who can resist a match making 8 year old, or a group of loving kids?? I know I can't!
Though this show is geared towards a more mature audience I felt like it was a good one for young adults as well...it had some cute moments and (yes the open eyed kisses which I guess should just be a given for most K.Dramas...) There were some romantic smoochies as well!

For the cons I did find some of the plot hard to follow at times, and at other times it was just dull.
Also the love interest was a tad strange for me as the female lead is a straight thinking, hard working adult and the male lead is a hard working, at times unreasonable man with the mind of a 10 year old. Sure you are holding the body of a man your age, but his mind is a few decades behind....


Now apart from the wonderful idea that someone with a disability can be seen as more than just his or her disability I did find the growth of his character somewhat unrealistic...(WARNING THIS IS A SMALL SPOILER CONSIDERING THE MAIN CHARACTER'S DEVELOPMENT SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW SCROLL DOWN PAST THIS PARAGRAPH!)
I mean people don't grow out of serious disabilities like they would a pair of pants...but somehow he grows out of it and becomes more mature.





There was also a few other holes in the plot and a few strange things about the romance in this drama that I personally found to be....well....slightly odd, but hey it's a drama so I suppose if I really wanted to I could overlook these small flaws...IF I REALLY WANTED TO!  but aside from some strange developments and plot holes I found this drama to be sweet and charming with a whole lot of funny situations, awkward moments, suspense, and the occasional hatred for some characters that make you breath fire haha. I enjoyed this drama very much, and if you are a big fan of hospital drama then look no further! This K.Drama is a very enjoyable and exciting show that will have you marvel at the skill of surgeons and the strange workings of the human mind!

All right! This drama was decently addicting and plenty of fun and you will become attached to the characters faster than Madam Hooch can say Quidditch.

What do you get when a young up and coming nun joins an extremely popular boy band?!

TROUBLE!

This Drama is a quirky and cute love story that was extremely addicting and had me singing along with the catchy songs and laughing out loud at the extremely awkward and goofy circumstances of each episode!

When accident prone and lovable oddball Go Mi Nyeo, (played by the beautiful Park Shin-Hye) is asked to temporarily take her twin brother's place in a popular rock band she must put off her dream of becoming a nun until her brother recovers from a secret surgery, but finds it hard to hide her true identity from the suspicious and OCD lead singer who hates her! (Jang Geun-Suk...drool)
She must prove herself again and again to her new fans as well as to her new room mates and colleagues as well as hide her true self from everyone but her only friend, her brother's goofy agent who got her in this mess!

This Drama has everything a young love story needs to keep you hooked, with rivalries, love triangles, hopes of renewing relationships, and the need to show the world who you really are behind the mask! I thought it was a clever, and extremely hilarious plot line filled with great characters and the classic will they won't they scenario that is enough to make you crazy!

This drama is filled with amazing leads like Jung Yong-Hwa and Lee Hong-ki that will make you fall in love (For all you K-poppers out there!)

Now for those of you who enjoy a great kissing scene, or are jumping out of your skin to see someone in theirs (see what I did there? lol) Then let me tell you something, this Drama is filled with extremely attractive leads, who yes....have some shirtless moments! However the kissing in this drama is VERY awkward and disappointing. It is filled with moments...well like this! (None of these are from the actual drama so don't worry, nothing has been spoiled =)

   

Ahhh the open eyed kiss. Hot right? Now don't be too disappointed, the romance in this drama is SO painfully adorable, and there are a few little gems in there that are very cute, but those are rare in this specific drama so be warned!

Now for the cons of this show, (Aside from the passionless open eyed smooching)
there were a few for sure...I found the plot of some episodes to be completely random and not quite fitting of the others like the producers decided last minute what should be used to move the story along. There was also unimportant scenes, stories or character additions that made you think they would be important but turned out to be filler parts which was pretty annoying...I mean COMMON! a last minute character squeezed in only to be in the background for the rest of the series is enough to make me scream.

ANYWAYS!

All in all this Drama is SO much fun to watch, it will make you laugh, sing, cry like a baby, and fangirl all over the place! (I want it all!!!)
It's a great show for all ages and will have you looking up K-pop bands in no time at all heehee

Great rates! This show was great! It had an extremely satisfying ending and though the vision of the show was sometimes blurred, it kept true to it's story and went out with a bang. 
So if you are a fan of K-pop, love a good laugh along with misunderstandings and lots of love triangles and awkward young adult tension then this is the show for you!

This is the action thriller of a life time! (This movie is for adult audiences, it contains blood, sexual content, drug abuse, graphic scenes, violence and strong language so please remove children and squeamish friends from the room before watching!)

The man from nowhere is a dark take on the hit film Taken, where a young antisocial pawn shop owner makes an unlikely friend in the young neighbor girl down the hall.

The hero, Cha Tae-sik (Played by the handsome and amazing Won Bin) hides his secrets and pain from the world as a reclusive, long haired hermit until his young neighbor seeks his companionship as an escape from her abusive mother and her dangerous lifestyle. Then disaster strikes when the young girl's mother becomes indebted to a drug lord who owns half the city! Cha Tae-sik must fight his way through gangs and thugs to reclaim his kidnapped young friend before it's too late.

I was literally clinging to the seat cushions of my couch throughout the entire film, it was so intense!
With a classic plot line, fantastic story telling, and greatly horrific scenes I couldn't look away for fear of missing anything! I loved the way this film transitioned smoothly, how the characters developed, and how the surprises were hinted at but not revealed until the perfect moment. There are a wide variety of intense dark scenes, great action scenes, troubling moments, and emotional waves of love, sadness, and joy! Though the movie has some parts of plot that are easily guessed... this movie will surprise you with it's amazing quality and gripping action sequences! There are characters you love, characters you hate, and characters you love to hate.
So for those of you who love excitement, dark stories, and a whole lot of butt kicking then you NEED to watch this movie because....

 AWWW YEAH!!

WOW what a number! Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed this film, There were some very small bumps along the way yer I still found it to be almost perfect! This was more geared towards the adult audiences, with grown up issues and a deeper meaning to romance!

The story line in this Drama was cute and fun as playful, as we meet slightly antisocial, and arrogant Jang Jae-yeol, a Mystery novelist and popular radio DJ, who falls head over heels for a sharp and passionate first year psychiatrist who suffers from insecurity and fear of commitment.
A while after being attacked by his angry older brother with a huge chip on his shoulder, Jang Jae-yeol  meets Ji Hae-soo on a talk show and after debating passionately about the inner most thoughts of the criminal mind, the two spark a connection that has Jang Jae-yeol wanting to get to know Ji Hae-soo a little more. So he does what any rational thinking man might do, he looks her up and finds where she lives, and he moves into a room in her shared apartment of nuts, putting himself in the middle of her roommate drama and stars as a new source of chaos to her life! With a lack of social skills, and OCD problems in the messy apartment, Jang Jae-yeol constantly gets on Ji Hae-soo's nerves! A perfect recipe for love AND disaster haha

This drama had several surprising plot twists and multiple romances and intrigues that keep you hooked and wanting more! I had a hard time tearing myself away from this drama with it's lovable characters and the extremely drawing back stories on top of some great kissing scenes, funny love spats and heart braking situations.... I was on a roller coaster of emotions  the entire time!

Though it was an enjoyable Drama, there were some frustrating aspects that would just bother me and get me heated up and asking my tv screen WHAT? WHY??! at 3 am.
 The plot development at the beginning was slow paced and in some places, pretty boring, and some plot additions seemed to be coming from nowhere, with no prior plot development, or they would pull a piece of plot from the smallest points of the show that you won't even remember until you go back and find it in a previous episode!
  GAAAH!

But aside from that I found the acting enjoyable and good, the story line surprising and the characters extremely lovable! Plus the ending rounded out nicely and all the lose ends get tied up pretty well! Definitely a Drama for the books! So if you want a slightly more mature setting in your drama, but you are still looking for a fun and sweet romance with twists and turns, then this Drama is the one for you!!

Okay, who's a fan of goofy day dreams, satisfying air kicks, love triangles, and a battle of the classes all jam packed into exaggerated rich kid high school life?
Well if you fell off your chair as you were waving your hand in the air and yelling, "OOH OOH! I AM!" Then Boys over Flower should be the absolute NEXT K.Drama you watch!

Now if you are still on the fence and would like to read more, let me tell you about this fantastically comical K.drama!
This follows a popular group of boys that go to a wealthy school and are loved by all, and are brought down a peg or two by their hot headed, hard working, Athlete and feisty school mate Geum Jan Di, who isn't falling for their arrogant ways and dashing good looks!
When Geum Jan Di stands up to the leader of this popular boy group lots of new friendships blossom and brings a whole lot of laughs and a whole lot of DRAMA!

This show is full of action, romance, and wise cracks as Geum Jan Di finds herself caught in a love triangle between two of the best looking and popular boys in school played by the VERY attractive actors, Lee Min-Ho and Kim Hyun-joong (SQUEE!) Along with a disapproving Mother type, best friend drama, high school fights, bullies, and plenty of money struggles on top of a new romance, Geum Jan Di must find her true path in life!

I love LOVE this K.drama! I was laughing, crying, and falling in love as this romantic comedy took a place in my heart! There are some wonderful kiss scenes that will melt your heart (Mixed with the awkward open eyed kisses) and more than one love story to follow to keep you on the edge of your seat! PLUS some steamy shirtless scenes as well (WINK!)

Now with every K.drama comes a few annoyances and this show is not without flaws, FIRST off I feel that Jan Di needed to make her feelings clear to her friends, classmates, and even the audience! She changed her mind and her feelings so often in the first half of the show SO MUCH that it was hard to keep track as to what was really going on. It was very frustrating and confusing...Secondly there were a few scenes where one of the love interests gets a tad...(AHEM) forceful with his love...and that just proved to be bad, not romantic AT ALL, and just plain awkward to watch.....but don't worry, nothing inappropriate happens! It's mostly umm.....




And Lastly, the ending just left me wondering what exactly happened...I mean you can leave things up to the imagination, sure! But some things just HAVE to be cleared up before you end the series!!
I was completely confused on certain points and it drove me SO crazy that I just decided how I wanted it to end and left it at that. (I am a fan of absolute, not having to guess endings haha)

However in a whole, this K.Drama is in my opinion one of the best High school drama's out there! So if you like what you're reading, add it to your list of MUST SEE K.DRAMAS because it totally rocks!

For all of you Kim Hyun Joong fans (drool) out there this might just be the drama for you!
this is a drama about a budding high school romance that grows from rivalry to full blown true love!

Now of course there are lots of humorous and awkward teenage bits to this show, the best parts to me where the parts where you glimpse into Kim Hyun Joong's character (Baek Seung-jo) and past his cold exterior as he contemplates who HE wants to be and what he wishes to do with his life as he is being courted by his fun loving, average, and awkward love interest Oh Ha-ni. Though they are complete opposites they go compliment each other rather nicely and she warms his heart full of angst.

Of course there are love triangles, family issues and struggles the two face as they go through their high school years and advance into college, which makes this show all the more exciting!
(Also this is the only drama I've seen so far where the mother in law character is on the female love interest's side, which made me SO SO SO SO SOOOO HAPPY! Especially when it caused trouble for her serious and stoic son heehee)

Now if you are in it for the kiss scenes, this drama isn't exactly the best. It had a few forced, open eyed smoochies, (You all know the ones I speak of!) and only one good kiss =(
BUT this IS meant to be geared more towards a younger audience I believe it will appeal to those awkward first kiss memories that I know we all have and remember well haha



Unfortunately there were some aspects of the show that I had issues with...the main thing that bothered me was how Oh Ha-ni's overly devoted love is used to cover up some of the mistreatment she gets from her one and only. As Seung-jo's character is still developing he comes off occasionally as a cold and self absorbed bully and the two are in an on-again-off-again situation, which in my opinion could have been resolved a whole lot better with a little understanding on either character's part, and left me more angry than love struck at times as these moments would drag on for episodes at a time! I found myself being torn apart from hope to heart break with tender hearted Oh Ha-ni as she struggled to be good enough to win her love; But in a way this made the good parts all that more wonderful to watch.

Now the finale had a few eyebrow raising events, but it tied everything together nicely enough in the end, though it was a little patchy I approved of the way things turned out!
Though not perfect, this drama was enchanting, silly, heartbreaking, and enjoyable. It will definitely make you feel Bipolar with all it's ups and downs, fun characters and it will have you up in your seat yelling "FIGHTING!" at your screen =D

HI! Welcome to my blog! Now you're probably wondering what this blog is about, well if you are an avid K.Drama viewer like myself, then you might just have an idea  by looking at my blog name ;)
Well I just want to start this blog with a small introduction segment before we dive into the world of K.Drama!!

I'm a quirky young adult who has been drawn into the world of Korean Drama shows (As have most of my friends and family haha).
I was recently diagnosed with an incurable chronic illness and was bed ridden for roughly a year before a proper treatment could be found, and to kill time I was constantly looking to random hobbies and of course, movies and Netflix, as a time killer.

Well it was a few months into this period of boredom and pain that I happened upon my first Korean Drama and became HOOKED! Now I can't stop! These shows are highly addicting and very enjoyable, especially to someone like myself who absolutely enjoys shows with different cultures and languages and let's face it, AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL DRAMA SHOWS!

Now after a while of watching show after show I started to sadly realize that I wasn't enjoying some shows as much as I was others, and ended up telling my friends which shows to steer clear, and which shows would be more addicting and enjoyable to them! Soon enough all my K.Drama watching friends were calling me for my advice and I decided that I might enjoy making a blog about my personal ratings and opinions on each show I watch so my friends could come look here for my opinions, and hopefully some of you other K.Drama viewers out there might enjoy as well!

So hold onto your hats, because it's a K.DRAMAPALOOZA! With a fun look into each drama I finish that will hopefully help you decide which shows will be right for you!
And don't worry, I hate spoilers as much as the next person so I will be avoiding those as best as I can.
